Interest System
Interests power the Soulseek recommendation engine. They are divided into two categories:Liked Items
Things you enjoy — genres, artists, labels, software, games, or anything else. Adding likes tells the server what you are into so it can suggest similar users and content.
Hated Items
Things you dislike. Hated items are used to refine recommendations and filter out content you do not want suggested.
Managing Your Interests
In the Social panel, open the My Interests section.Add a liked item
Type the name of something you like into the interest field and press Add Like. SeeleSeek saves the entry locally and registers it with the server immediately.
Add a hated item
Type into the same field and press Add Hate instead. The entry is registered with the server as a “thing I hate.”
The Soulseek server does not persist interests across sessions. SeeleSeek stores your interests locally and automatically re-registers all of them with the server after every login. Adding or removing an interest also triggers an automatic refresh of your recommendations and similar users.
Recommendations & Discovery
Open the Discovery tab in the Social panel to explore content and users based on your interests.Recommendations
Items suggested specifically for you based on the overlap between your interests and those of other users. Each item has a positive score reflecting how strongly it is correlated with your likes.

Click Choose Picture to select an image from your Mac. The image is stored locally and sent to other users when they view your profile. Click Remove Picture to clear it.
Privileges
