Open the Search panel with ⌘1 or click Search in the sidebar.
1

Enter your query

Type an artist, album, track name, or any keyword into the search field at the top of the Search panel.
2

Submit

Press Return to send the search to the network. Results stream in from other users in real time.
3

Review results

Results appear as they arrive. A spinner indicates the search is still active. Once it stops, the network has finished responding.

Tabbed Searches

Each search opens in its own tab, so you can run multiple queries simultaneously without losing earlier results. Click the + tab or start a new search while a previous one is open. Close a tab at any time — results are cached and can be reloaded within the hour.

Search History

SeeleSeek remembers your last 20 searches. Click the search field to see your history and select a previous query to run it again.

Result Caching

Completed searches are cached for 1 hour. If you run the same query again within that window, results load instantly from the local cache rather than hitting the network.

Result Limit

By default, each search collects up to 500 results. You can change this in General Settings. Set it to 0 for no limit (use with care on busy queries).

Filters

Click the filter icon to reveal the filter panel. Filters apply instantly to the current results without re-running the search.
